Today I found many things that offended my style sensability. However, I couldn't settle upon any one thing until I came across these shoes. They are mod podged. That's right - mod podged.
For that alone they are offensive. But it gets worse. They are a black ugly platform bootie mod podges in a purple doily. They look almost like they have a crocheted cover put over them. And the poster even suggests that you can do pink for Valentine's Day! Since I am single and Valentine's Day in general makes me ill, these shoes would probably kill me.
The DIY website that shows you how to make these shoes says they are a "statement piece". They are definitely making a statement to me - "the wearer of these shoes need a fashion intervention. Even Clinton and Stacey couldn't help her."

Now without further ado - purple doily booties
Do you love them? If so please don't tell me. I couldn't bear it.
